　　The Role – Principal, Real World Solutions

　　As a Principal – Real World Solutions Germany, you will be responsible for business development and project delivery for our key pharmaceutical industry clients, leading teams of highly skilled consultants and data scientists, driving innovation and thought leadership in the area of Real World Research and Human Data Science.

　　Principal Accountabilities:

　　Leading Business Development and project delivery for leading pharmaceutical industry clients, across IQVIAs full Real World Solutions portfolio:

　　Lead multiple client engagements at top pharmaceutical clients, across IQVIA’s Real World Solutions and Analytics portfolio.

　　Lead and develop client relationships with IQVIA’s top pharmaceutical clients in Germany, develop relationships with new clients.

　　Lead teams of highly skilled consultants and data scientists across multiple client engagements.

　　Deliver projects to the highest satisfaction of our clients and build long-standing relationships with key decision makers.

　　Strategy setting and market building:

　　Assume a leadership role in developing and implementing our business unit strategy .

　　Identify new opportunities for innovative real world data and platform solutions.

　　Identify and frame partnership opportunities with relevant players in the healthcare ecosystem, including start-up companies.

　　Contribute to our M&A agenda.

　　Contribute to the development of the IQVIA thought leadership and innovation agenda.

　　Capability building and people/team leadership:

　　Build and lead teams within Real World Solutions Germany, develop next generation IQVIA leaders.

　　Lead, motivate and inspire top performers, drive professional development and retention of key talent.

　　Desired Skills and Experience:

　　Minimum 10 years professional experience in pharma/healthcare consulting, pharma/MedTech industry, preferentially within real world research and big data healthcare analytics.

　　Experience in leading and teams.

　　Experience in product development, from initial concept development, market sizing through to product delivery plans.

　　A track record of driving HQ/global deals aligned with suitable offerings development experience.

　　Proven ability to advance ambiguous or conceptual ideas and engage multiple stakeholders, internal and clients, to decision points.

　　A track record of thought leadership, publications and public speaking.

　　Offerings development experience – familiarity with accepted innovations models e.g. open innovation, ideation, product platforming, immersion or similar would be beneficial.

　　Leadership experience in complex organizations with demonstrated results in aligning people without formal reporting relationships.

　　Good understanding of the types of analyses conducted in healthcare databases.

　　Overall understanding of different technology domains (infrastructure, architecture, analytics applications).

　　Word and PowerPoint competent, the ability to develop clear storylines and business cases.

　　Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, techniques.

　　Deep commercial awareness of the healthcare, health technology and pharmaceutical industry, gained through experience.

　　Understanding of and interest in the international healthcare environment and ideally experience in multiple countries.

　　Intermediate knowledge in German and English both verbal and written.
