Worldwide Health and Safety (WHS) is hiring a Principal PM to lead the WHS Strategy team. WHS owns measuring, reporting and improving on the heath and safety of over 1.2 million operations employees across Amazon. The WHS strategy team works across Amazon to develop cohesive strategies and share executive reporting on our health and safety performance as a company. WHS is looking for a strategic thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational ability to fill this position.A strong candidate should have experience and interest in:1. Being a key leader in improving health and safety at Amazon.2. Leading large, cross-functional planning and strategy workstreams.3. Thinking big about operational strategies and regularly presenting to VP and SVP level leaders. This leader will own multiple monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews with leadership covering strategic level topics.4. Improving internal practices for sharing and visualizing data.5. Driving execution to published plans across multiple business groups.6. Managing planning calendars.Responsibilities include developing 1-5 year plans for WHS, publishing strategic planning documents including OP plans, creating regular Steam and board level reporting, and partnering with operations, engineering, and tech teams to refine and prioritize healthy and safety within their strategic plans.About the team:The Workplace Health and Safety Strategy team builds and manages mechanisms for WHS to compile, create, and refine our strategies and strategic planning and reporting documents that represent WHS at the highest levels of leadership. We are the PM group that owns most WHS executive level documents and the PM wing for executive level data/reporting.
