M365 Core is looking for an experienced Principal Group Engineering Manager to lead the M365 Trusted Platform Engineering team. The team creates the core infrastructure and tools that support our mission to improve and simplify the compliance posture of the complete set of M365 services.
The work done by the team has high impact across M365, influencing how we build and ship all of our in-suite services.
This is a hybrid work opportunity, with 50% work on-site at our Redmond campus and 50% remote.

Responsibilities
As the Principal Group Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Driving the strategy, vision, and execution for the team in collaboration with the M365 Trusted Platform team - compromised of operational engineering, design, and program management leaders.
Partner with others - internally and externally - to deliver consistent compliance solutions for internal and external customers.
Coach team leaders and engineers within the team
Actively shape and drive a flexible, diverse, and inclusive culture where everyone is enabled to be at their best.
Qualifications
Required/ Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years experience building software and complex servicesOR equivalent experience.
5+ years experience as an Engineering people manager.Preferred Qualifications
A passion for compliance and regulatory work, including the value it brings to our customers.
Experience of working directly with customers on regulatory and compliance topics.
Experience working across disciplines and teams.
A passion for leading diverse, inclusive engineering organization.
Significant developer experience that builds empathy and understanding of the developer community.
Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,500 - $276,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $202,800 - $304,200 per year.
