Role Overview:
Cardinal Health is seeking a Software Engineer in Automation Test responsible for providing overall technical leadership for the test program which includes framing and driving test strategies for overall project, has sound knowledge in Test techniques and Methodologies, who can implement test-process improvements and delivering state of the art ecommerce solutions. The ideal candidate is an individual with customer focused mindset, hands-on technology skills, positive work ethic and a collaborative mindset who is willing to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Strong experience of working with different platforms Web applications and API (Android, iOS experience is a plus).
• Experience in designing Test Automation Frameworks.
• Design & development skills in any high-level language.
• Hands on experience with multiple scripting languages.
• Ability to perform development of test automation by designing and writing automated test scripts based on defined test cases, including the definition of test data for consumption by scripts during test execution.
• Analyzing Test Results, Defect Reporting & Tracking on regular basis. • Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy and Risk Assessment. • Work closely with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them in to test cases which capture all possible test conditions and has strong analytical skills in identifying and designing Regression scenarios for the same.
• Solid experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle applying best practices and Agile software development methodologies.
• Passion for improving code quality through interaction with development teams in India and across.
• Mentor test engineers, and work and engage in cross team collaboration to enhance the test efficiency across the groups and to foster an environment of development and inclusivity.
• Collaboratively work with various cross-functional teams across the globe.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software-related discipline.
• 5-8 years as a software automation tester.
• Hands on experience in automated testing of API, web applications & mobile applications using Selenium Appium.
• Thorough understanding of Non-Functional Testing.
• Strong knowledge of software Test methodologies, tools and processes
• Possess good analytical skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Structured and influential communicator: verbally, in written documentation and in presentations.
• Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD pipeline tools is a plus
• Experience in practices like TDD/ATDD and test automation is a plus
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts is a plus.
• Exposure to Mobile Applications, eCommerce and healthcare domain Testing is a plus
• Exposure to Katalon is a plus
