One of our clients in Norfolk, Virginia is looking for a PrincipalArchitect with Capitation/Value Based Care experience.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing in the establishment of an IT ApplicationArchitecture practice for Core Administrative Platform - Pricing andPayment, and the adoption of standardization and repeatableprocesses for Provider Payments, Capitation, and Value Based Paymentmethodologies.Works closely with the Chief Strategist and Claim and FinanceArchitect to develop repeatable processes for configuration for newbusiness.Analyze and recommend configuration standards and changes foroptimization of capitation calculation module for existing healthplans.Conceptualize and design custom components for capitationcalculation gaps that will integrate and work seamlessly with QNXT.Leads activities that take place during solution ideation, solutiondesign, and solution implementation for the applicable businessarea.Reviews business context for solutions to company challenges as wellas defining the vision and requirements for the solution,recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs orprototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and thedevelopment of a roadmap for the selected solution.Communicates the application architecture to the stakeholders andcollaborates and coordinates with existing domain architects in theformalization and adoption of IT standards and procedures.Champions a structured approach to business application solutions.Supports the development of the application solutions architectureprogram including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios.Assures solutions not only are a fit for the specific purpose butalso closely align with the standards guidelines of technologysolutions.Influences changes to standards and application configuration whennecessary.Directs the identification and recommendation of appropriatesolutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning optionsincorporating business and technology productivity, usability, andtotal cost of ownership.Develops and executes solutions which further reduce the percentageof time spent on reactive work.Qualifications / Skills

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Systems, orequivalent education or work experienceMinimum of 10 - 12 years of experience related to IT Management orother information technology solutions architecture role.Minimum of 5 years of experience with QNXT or QNXT basedapplication.Managed Care Organization, Medicare and Medicaid, Commercial HealthPlan operational knowledge and experienceImplementation of large-scale payment solutions preferred.Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technicalprograms.Proficiency with information technologies in a secure networkenvironment{=html}<>- SQL proficiency required
