The Principal Application Developer/Designer for event-driven applications is responsible for creating application designs and development that can handle real-time data and events efficiently. This role requires a deep understanding of event-driven architecture, software development principles, and system design.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop event-driven applications that can process real-time data and events efficiently.
Collaborate with development teams to implement the application design.
Define and implement robust and scalable solutions for processing real-time data.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Monitor application performance and implement necessary optimizations.
Document system design and architectures for team reference and future maintenance.
Qualifications:
Experience with Azure services like Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, etc.
Proven experience as an Application System Designer or similar role with a focus on event-driven applications.
Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the application.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with specific event-driven technologies like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
Familiarity with cloud services related to real-time data processing.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
