Job Title: Stamping Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to operate and monitor vintage Minster stamping press machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial machinery, perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance, ensure quality control, and effectively communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor vintage Minster and similar stamping press machines.

Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on the machines.

Start up and shut down machines following safety protocols.

Ensure the quality of stamped products through regular inspections.

Log production data and manage inventory using basic computer skills.

Safely lift and move items up to 30 lbs, including moving totes.

Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.

Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and report issues.

Essential Skills

Basic mechanical skills and experience with industrial machinery.

Familiarity with Minster or similar stamping press machines.

Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.

Basic computer skills for logging data and managing inventory.

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Experience with impact press, stamping, Minster machine, Bruderer, or similar machines.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to set up and operate machinery.

Job Type Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
