Preparedness and Exercise CoordinatorThe Preparedness and Exercise Coordinator is a colleague in the Cyber Defense Operations department and supports the Command Center team. This team is responsible for cyber incident response and cyber defense operations coordination of processes, workflows, services, activities, and initiatives.The Preparedness and Exercise Coordinator is responsible for the cyber defense tabletop and process exercise design, execution, and outcome remediation support; maintaining the cyber defense operations business continuity plans and managing the cyber defense operations participation during internal exercises; maintaining and optimizing the department's onboarding checklist and training requirement matrix; maintaining and optimizing the department's SharePoint sites; and facilitating team newsfeed updates.Position ResponsibilitiesCyber Defense Operations Exercise CoordinationContinuously supports maintenance and enhancements to the department's Incident Response Tabletop Exercise Program.Develops, maintains, and distributes annual exercise schedule.Coordinates department team participation in other interorganizational exercises.Designs and executes technical tabletop and process exercises.Functions as the primary Cyber Defense Operations contact for project management office (PMO) and Process & Relationship Coordinator (PRC) initiatives related to exercise outcome remediations.Facilitates PMO initiatives assigned to Cyber Defense Operations teams.Coordinates remediation plan initiatives for Self-Identified Finding and Risk Issues assigned to Cyber Defense Operations teams and ensures timely completion.Administration and CommunicationsPartners with HR Consulting and HR Learning & Development to assign and maintain role assignments for cyber defense-related training.Partners with HR Learning & Development to source best in class cyber defense learning resources.Develops, maintains, and facilitates completion of Cyber Defense Operations role, team, and tool specific onboarding checklists.Develops and maintains Cyber Defense Operations team SharePoint sites.Facilitates team participation in regular Cyber Defense Operations Newsfeed updates.Supports Incident Response Coordinators (IRCS) and Process & Relationship Coordinators in monthly Security Incident Review Governance sessions.Cross-trained in Incident Response Logging and Process Development.
Position QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Business Administration or High School Diploma or GED and 10 years progressive relevant experience5 years of Cybersecurity experience4 years of Experience with SharePoint design and development4 years of Experience with the banking sector and its regulations3 years of Experience in a Cyber Defense role
