　　We are seeking an experienced public relations professional to support our rapidly growing and evolving global digital video business as a maternity cover. Amazon Prime Video is changing the way people watch movies and TV shows. Our mission is to build the widest selection of digital video content and make it trivially easy for customers to enjoy wherever and whenever they want.

　　As a PR Manager for Prime Video in Germany, you will partner and collaborate with key business leaders to imagine, develop and execute communications programs and publicity campaigns designed to support our growing slate of Amazon Original series and movies produced in Germany, along with our biggest award winning original and exclusive content.

　　As a local PR Manager, you will be relied upon as a key advisor to senior business leaders and international PR colleagues and support global campaigns taking into consideration cultural nuances for impactful regional media strategies.

　　You must have high-judgment, excellent communications skills, strong writing ability and initiative, strong project management skills and a talent for effectively managing projects across international teams with complex communication challenges.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Serve as a PR subject matter expert for Germany

　　Development and implementation of PR strategies and publicity campaigns for locally produced Amazon Original TV (across unscripted, scripted and live sport), global Original and Exclusive series and the extensive movie and TV portfolio of Prime Video.

　　Development and implementation of concepts for premieres and other events relating to Prime Video, including interviews with talent, set visits and press junkets for original, exclusive and first run content.

　　Close co-operation with fellow Prime Video PR associates from across Europe and worldwide as well as international colleagues from Amazon Studios.

　　Work with key stakeholders across many regions including business leads, content teams, marketing teams, social media teams and external PR agencies.

　　Provide strategic counsel to senior business leaders.

　　Ensure consistency of company-wide communication, share worldwide best practices, capitalize on opportunities globally and develop impactful regional media strategies.

　　Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of media and entertainment.

　　Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant media in the region.

　　Conduct proactive and reactive media relations.

　　Manage external public relations agency on strategy and day to day matters.

　　Effectively represent Amazon as a spokesperson for assigned businesses as necessary.

　　A day in the life

　　In your day-to-day work you will collaborate with internal stakeholders from our local and global content teams to establish and execute PR strategies for our most important show launches. You will interact with partners across production companies, talents and their representatives to bring these strategies to live. You will guide and manage Prime Video's agency network to secure operational excellence. You will collaborate with peers from the wider local Amazon team to counterparts across Europe and the world to leverage best-practice examples.

　　About the team

　　You will be part of the German Entertainment PR which is a local team delivering media, talent and industry relations, and awards campaigning for Prime Video in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Reporting into the Head of Entertainment PR DACH & CEE, you will work independently on single-title PR campaigns and wider initiatives.
