Electrical Engineer Opportunity Now!!

　　Description:

　　Our client is looking for an Electrical Designer to assist with the development of standard and prototype equipment that will be manufactured to meet customers’ needs. This individual will need to research, develop, design and test electrical components, equipment and systems to match client specifications including switchgear, auxiliary components from low to high voltage, automatic transfer schemes, standby generators and paralleling equipment, motor control centers, transformers, etc.

　　Top Responsibilities:

　　• Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, and military purposes.

　　• Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for new commercial, and military uses.

　　• Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods in concert with Quality Control; testing finished products and system capabilities.

　　• Will need to be able to create, read or modify layout drawings, schematics, wiring and interconnection diagrams.

　　• Some knowledge of panel board, lighting, outlet, grounding, conduit and wiring design is required.

　　Must Haves:

　　• 5+ years of Experience Designing medium voltage applications (480V - 15KV)

　　• AutoCAD experience

　　• Control system design experience (Example - MV switchgear, PLC’s, VFD’s, programming, panel layout, component selection, testing and modification)

　　• Knowledge of panel board, lighting, outlet, grounding, conduit, and wiring design.

　　• Ability to create, read or modify layout drawings, schematics, wiring and interconnection diagrams.

　　Plusses:

　　• AutoCAD Electric or Solidworks experience

　　• Testing Experience

　　Disqualifiers:

　　• Not having experience designing switch gears or similar applications
