Summary:
The Power Solutions Group (PSG) Project Manager will utilize significant industry knowledge and expertise to manage and exercise independent judgment and decision making with respect to the following core business functions for the Central Industrial Division PCs - submitting proposals, submittals, coordinating order and delivery of project materials, handling project issues with manufacturers, project documentation creation and submitting, and driving growth in the Power business.
The most important aspect of our jobs is to support the integrity and implementation of the CED business model.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or engineering
Previous project management experience

Working Conditions:
Office and warehouse environments, outside work sites and client facility environments, and indoor client manufacturing environments. May be some exposure to dust, heat or cold, and other seasonal changes.

Essential Job Functions:
Develop an understanding of the position of the Power Solutions capabilities of the Central Industrial Division (CID) including:
Personnel capabilities across the division PC capabilities of deliverable services and inventory
Market analysis of the competitive landscape and partner eco-system development
Provide contractors and/or end user with start-up guidance or assistance when applicable.
Understand and be able to use the software and estimating tools needed to process Quotes, Configurations, Proposals, Submittals, etc.
Create and review submittals
Facilitate execution team for each project won and hand over project to selected Project Manager. Oversee kick off meeting with all execution partners.
Ensure that quoted solutions do not limit the market access of Rockwell Automation solutions.
Collaborate with PSG partners to resolve issues as soon as they are identified.
Identify training opportunities for PC personnel and provide to PC and PSG management to implement.
Utilize CED project management software for tracking of ongoing projects.
Work with local PCs for equipment deliveries while coordinating with job site personnel for delivery schedules.
Coordinate operation and maintenance manuals (O&Ms) creation with equipment manufacturers – review for accuracy and send to PC and/or contractor, end user.
Continually drive new business opportunities and advocate new products to support account penetration growth and long-term business partnership.
Coordinate with job site personnel around start up of new equipment and schedule with appropriate service providers.
