JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Position Purpose A three-yearpostdoctoral fellowship is available in the Medical College of WisconsinCardiovascular Center in one of five major areas of research. The A. O.Smith Fellowship Scholar postdoctoral fellow will receive personalizedtraining within multidisciplinary mentoring teams led by exceptionalfaculty mentors. Fellows will create and follow an individualizeddevelopment plan (IDP), conduct research studies, attend requiredcourses/seminars, write grants, publish manuscripts, present oralpresentations locally and nationally, and learn other skills necessaryfor a successful career in cardiovascular research or a closely relatedfield. Clinical scholars will have protected time for research. Per NIHguidelines, the postdoctoral fellow must be a U.S. citizen or permanentresident.
