　　Job Description

　　To oversee the successful execution of Camp Amelia, craft experiences, beach operation and family entertainment by monitoring the team of recreation attendants, engaging with guests, and creating memorable vacation moments.

　　Responsibilities

　　+ + Responsible for opening and closing procedures for pool and beach scape- all associates, cleanliness and service opportunities.

　　Create and deliver clear stand-up plan for team daily, at start of each shift- Oceanside, Rentals, activities team

　　Host and assist execution the pool experience with by towel service, water service, supporting servers and DRA and creating touch points with every guest on the pool deck

　　Demonstrate creativity, crowd management quality service with every interaction

　　Effectively handling guest complaints and resolving issues with courage and confidence

　　Communicate end of day recap to management detailing action items, staff issues, follow up needed, etc.

　　Inspect all department areas daily, monitoring cleanliness, organization and reporting of safety hazards with follow up

　　Must be able to work with many different departments to serve our guest needs and requests

　　Communicate to guest about the rental options, prices change daily.

　　Take reservations for Beach rentals to include Cabanas, Elites, Sun Canopy and beach sets.

　　Take reservations for Pool rentals to include Cabanas and Luxury Loungers.

　　Help plan and attend Beach and Pool Operation meetings and monthly All Together Get Together

　　Be knowledgeable of Omni's culture

　　Knowledgeable of other Omni outlets and company events to promote to guests

　　Associate must be able to walk throughout property, have a valid driver’s license, communicate clearly and effectively to our guests, multitask effectively

　　Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities

　　Actively participate in the assurance of the safety of all guests; monitor winds and lower/raise umbrellas daily.

　　Work on the pool deck with Rentals, towel, activities, holiday events and Group recreation programing

　　Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

　　Assist with routine cleaning of the beach and beach equipment (e.g. raking, cleaning, emptying trash, picking up towels and trash, organizing and inventory)

　　Be familiar with current weather and tide conditions, ready to advise and answer guest inquiries.

　　Engage guests of all ages in different ways to explore Omni Amelia Island and surrounding areas with a variety of options

　　Assist in all other aspects of the recreation department as needed

　　Answer phones with greeting and assist guests with any questions or reservations

　　Work holiday special programs as scheduled

　　Treat everyone with courtesy and respect at all times.

　　Qualifications

　　Tools and Equipment:

　　Equipment: Computer and programs to include Birch Street, ResortSuite, Xola and Outlook, Basic tools, Drill, Augers, shovels, surf boards, paddle boards, beach carts and towel bins.

　　Working Environment:

　　Interior and exterior with exposure to weather conditions

　　Expose to hot and cold temperatures

　　Various beach locations, department storage areas, pool decks and guest areas.

　　Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only)

　　Valid drivers licenses Able to lift and lift up to 50 pounds

　　Able to stoop, stand, push, pull and walk or stand for long periods of time
