  Responsibilities

  Supervise police officers and other security personnel to monitor and respond to potential and/or actual security threats.

  Responsibilities:

  Conduct investigations, security assessments, and review of professional standards.

  Collaborate with chain of command, internal/external departments and other agencies for effective operational responses.

  Has authority to arrest for misdemeanors and/or felonies under applicable law, and provide court testimony as required.

  Operate vehicle in a safe and responsible manner to avoid accidents and traffic violations.

  Maintain vehicle in a safe and clean condition and promptly communicates need for service or repairs.

  Coordinate scheduling and shift coverage.

  May provide input for hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff.

  Requirements

  Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

  One or more of the following required:

  Certification specializing in Peace Officer obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  Law Enforcement obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  Education:

  High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.Work Experience:

  1 year of experience required.

  Shall be at least 21 years of age in order to attend the required law enforcement training academy courses.

  Additional Preferences

  Police Officer with at least 10 years of experience required.

  5 years supervisory experience required.

  Academy Tier I or II trained.
