The City of Laurel, MS will be giving a Civil Service Examination for the position of Entry-Level Police Officer on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. 

　　Interested persons must complete an application and sign-up before March 6, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. to participate in the testing process.

　　Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: At least 21 years of age Valid MS drivers license High School diploma or GED U. S. Citizen and registered voter in the county where you reside Able to pass a background check Able to pass Entry-Level Police Officer Civil Service Examination Able to attend and successfully complete MS Law Enforcement Officer Training Academy Beginning Salary: $44,044.72 annually.
