At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do.We are seeking a Police Assisted Diversion (PAD) Lead Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to join our team at our program in Philadelphia, PA.Earn $22.73/hourA Lead works collaboratively with the PAD program personnel which include partnering agencies and city personnel. This role will require you to triage for services both in and out of the field, working in collaboration with Philadelphia Police Department personnel to offer social service, shelter and SUD service linkage for arrest diversion (Non-violent qualifying offences), Social referral and community members city wide. Client population and service setting will verify, self-awareness, critical thinking and being self-director are key elements to the role.Position DetailsSupport with in-office service delivery in office conduct follow up phone calls to shelters, inpatient providers, recovery houses to support staff directly serving individuals. Street Outreach with and without PPD partnership. Operate company vehicle. Client Transportation. Electronic movement monitoring. Mobile data collection. Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:2 years of experience as a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) or 5 years' work history in a drug and alcohol setting.Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a health care or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.Ability to work in a team setting. 90% of the work is done in the field with a partner.Proficient computer skills to perform job duties including but not limited to desktop computing, email, time sheet management, and electronic health records, using Microsoft Office and Google Applications, and other relevant software.Ability to enter data on a mobile handheld device while in the field.Must possess a valid driver's license.Must have knowledge and an understanding of recovery principles and recovery driven service system.Ability to establish professional relationships with city personnel including but not limited to Philadelphia Police Department (PPD)and Philadelphia Fire Department (PFD) partners.Lived experience preferred.
