Job Description:

　　We are currently seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our team. This individual will support a diverse range of project types, including residential homes, apartments, condos, industrial, commercial, retail, restaurants, fire stations, religious facilities, and more. You will be joining an office of 10+ engineering professionals, with guidance and leadership from engineers and designers.

　　Job Duties:

　　Assist engineers in the design process by developing plans, developing sections and elevations, redline markups, and evaluating shop drawings.

　　Perform calculations, size equipment/piping, BIM clash detection and resolution.

　　Work both independently and with team members on design projects, including inter-discipline coordination.

　　Provide oversight, training, and mentoring to less experienced designers.

　　Qualifications:

　　Minimum 3 years of experience performing production work for an engineering consulting firm.

　　Experience in Plumbing.

　　Proficiency in Revit.

　　Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering preferred, but we would consider an experienced CAD Designer.

　　Ability to work both independently and in a team.

　　Capacity to provide oversight, training, and mentoring to less experienced designers.

　　Adaptability to work in an easy going culture with a focus on productivity and a good work environment.
