  Polar Field Services, Inc. is looking to hire a seasonal Licensed Plumber -Arctic Plumbing Technician to perform field plumbing maintenance, repairs,and installation in Summit Station, Greenland.   This seasonal plumbing position earns a competitive wage of $2,400 -$2,850 per week. In addition, our Licensed Plumbers - Arctic PlumbingTechnicians can enroll in our Pro Deal Discount program and receive an hourlyhealth and welfare benefit of $4.22/hour for the first 40 hours workedeach week.

  YOUR ADVENTURE AS A LICENSED PLUMBER

  In this seasonal skilled trade position, you are a crucial part of ourinternational field team. Each day, you diligently perform skilled plumbingwork, including installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety offixtures, equipment, and systems. Skillfully and efficiently, youassemble and maintain piping runs of various materials, including insulatedpiping runs for glycol and sewer transport. Your extensive knowledge servesyou well as you promptly perform scheduled preventative maintenance onexisting plumbing systems both inside and outside of our buildings.

  Punctual and reliable, you consistently respond to emergency service callsas they come in, no matter the time. With great attention to detail, youread blueprints, plans, and specifications. You also perform materialtake-offs and plan for projects as needed. A competent leader, youoccasionally direct the work of our helpers as well as utilize the assistanceof other station personnel to make sure every task gets accomplished.   QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LICENSED PLUMBER

  We're searching for an empathetic, courteous person with the followingqualifications:

  High school diploma OR equivalentCurrent journeyman or master plumber license4+ years of documented experience in all phases of your trade, includingpiping, fixture installation, and service and repairExperience working with a variety of pipe materials and fittings, includingcopper, cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), polyvinyl chloride(PVC), galvanized steel, black iron, glass-fiber reinforced epoxy(GRE), and high-density polyethylene (HDPE)Knowledge about materials, methods, and appropriate tools to work onpipelines, pipe systems, and fixturesKnowledge about the Uniform Plumbing CodeValid driver's license and United States passportWillingness to work outside on various job si es in extreme weather conditionsExperience with the following job duties is preferred but not required:

  Experience working in remote and cold or polar environmentsExperience installing, repairing, and maintaining hydronic piping systemsExperience constructing and maintaining commercial or industrial facilitiesExperience with computerized maintenance management systemsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite

  WORK SCHEDULE FOR A LICENSED PLUMBER - ARCTIC PLUMBING TECHNICIAN

  This seasonal skilled trade position works 9-hour days, 6 days per week andenjoys Sunday off. Additional hours will occasionally be needed. The schedulefor our Licensed Plumbers - Arctic Plumbing Technicians varies based onlocation, weather conditions, and work requirements.
