　　Position Summary

　　At Nestlé Research and Development in Konolfingen near Bern / Switzerland, we develop for Nestlé worldwide new products, processes and packaging concepts for a broad range of products of our Nutrition, Dairy, Health Science and Coffee businesses. In addition, we also provide technical assistance to our factories.

　　As an R&D Platform Lead Early Life Nutrition, you will oversee and implement the strategic project portfolio, as well as various projects related to S&T, Clinical Research, Sustainability, and Packaging, in alignment with GBS goals. You will ensure that projects are delivered from start to finish by effectively utilizing resources within a matrix organization, meeting deadlines, maintaining quality standards, and adhering to budgetary constraints. Approximately 40% of your role will involve strategic planning, while the remaining 60% will focus on project execution.

　　A Day in the Life of an R&D Platform Lead Early Life Nutrition

　　Contribute to defining and implementing the Preterm strategic project portfolio for sustainable growth and profitability.

　　Identify specific projects in S&T, clinical research, sustainability, and packaging to support brand needs.

　　Take end-to-end responsibility for delivering R&D innovation and renovation projects on time, within budget, and smoothly into operations.

　　Allocate resources from relevant functions to execute the project portfolio.

　　Identify and engage external partners, such as universities, research institutes, and suppliers, and define innovation opportunities to deliver against brand ambitions.

　　Create differentiating intellectual property (IP) through project execution.

　　Share innovation knowledge and opportunities with other brand leads.

　　Enable results through leadership, coaching, and development of project team members, fostering collaboration within and across R&D units, technical and business units, and external partners.

　　What will make you successful

　　Minimum 10 years of international experience in R&D, of which minimum 2-3 years of End-to-End project management.

　　Relevant work experience in the Preterm category.

　　Proven track record in translating scientific concept into relevant commercial success.

　　Successfully led a larger group of people and developed people as a project manager or team leader/group manager.

　　Worked a matrix like structure in a functionally structured environment.

　　Ability to manage resources and budget requirements.

　　Proven communication skills at all levels within the organization.

　　Experience in working with NICU a plus.
