SEKISUI AerospaceJob DescriptionJob Title: Plaster Pit/Demold IReports To:Department: PlasterSalary Grade:FLSA: Exempt Non-ExemptSalary Range:Job Type: Direct IndirectDate: 1/5/2023 New Job Revised JobSummary:The Plaster Pit or Demold production worker manufacture molds that will be used to form composite parts, following Standard Work Instructions and production schedules.Level IEntry/Junior level individual contributor, semi-skilled worker who operates machines, factory-related processing equipment, or vehicles. Requires little or no prior experience and no more than a few months of training that is often received while on the job. Has little or no autonomy and works under close supervision. Achieves competency with skills assigned to this level over time.Essential Functions: Essential functions, including how an individual is to perform them and the frequency with which the tasks are performed; the tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.TasksDe-mold plaster parts and clean to requirements; preparing molds for curing process, light hand sanding, and removing excess plaster from mold and floor.Pour liquid plaster into mandrels to form molds according to Standard Work Instructions.Moving molds that are 10 lbs. to 200 lbs. lifting with two man lift.Maintain schedules and time allowances; reporting any discrepancies and scheduling concerns to supervisor.Supervisory ResponsibilityNoneProvide direction to other individuals.Supervises, hires, trains, provides work direction and problem-solving assistance.Oversees the daily operations of other staff, including scheduling and assigning work.Manage performance, salary, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.Required QualificationsExperience with the use of basic hand and power tools.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Excellent interpersonal skills.Preferred QualificationsNoneEducationHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.ExperienceOne year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Additional Eligibility QualificationsNoneComputer SkillsNoneWorking ConditionsWhile performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below.
