ALTA IT Services is staffing a 4+month contract opportunity for a Medical Record Specialist support a leading health insurance customer. The individual will handle day to day review of professional medical records and uploading files into the electronic medical records system.

　　Pay: $21/HR

　　Hybrid (Owings Mills, MD)

　　Vaccination required by client

　　Responsibilities:

　　Review electronic health record documentation for accuracy and completion.

　　Navigate medical records (EMR).

　　Maintain medical health records in a manner that is consistent with administrative, legal and regulatory requirements and best practices.

　　Retrieve medical records via fax and electronically to review.

　　Upload files using EPIC and other EMR software's.

　　Must Haves:

　　Vaccination

　　Experience with Microsoft office

　　2+years of experience

　　Healthcare Background preferred

　　Phone etiquette
