JOB REQUIREMENTS: OVERVIEW The St. Charles plant is one of two recentlyacquired TNT pizza crust locations. It is located in a newer facility inthe St. Louis suburbs of St. Charles County. We operate in a dynamicbusiness environment with lots of current investment and growth. The St.Charles plant has become a strategic and critical plant to the NorthAmerica Foddservice (NAF) segment. The Plant Technical Manager isresponsible for providing the technical expertise and technicalleadership to deliver results for both TNT pizza crust plant locations(St. Charles and Green Bay) and the businesses they support. The PTM isresponsible for direct reports of the engineers and maintenance managerin St. Charles and for a dotted line support of the Technical SiteLeader and team in Green Bay. This role will provide critical technicalleadership for major capital projects and ensure active Line Teams havesolutions needed to drive safety, quality, and performance plans. Floorvisibility and connection with people in person is very important in St.Charles. This role will initially spend around 75% of their timesupporting the St. Charles plant and around 25% of their time supportingthe Green Bay plant. Most of the time will be spent supporting Green Bayremotely, but this may vary based on various needs in the future.Percentage of Travel will most likely be around 15%. This role reportsdirectly to the site Plant Manager in St. Charles and has a dotted linefunctional engineering accountability to Central Engineering at worldheadquarters. The PTM will sit on the plant leadership team in St.Charles but will have a regular presence on the leadership teams at bothlocations. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Leadership Development of site strategicplan for technical staffing, capital investment, general competencies,and system/technology improvements Coaching, mentoring, and developmentof plant technical resources Accountability for management of externaltechnical relationships with A/E firms, contractors, and equipmentvendors Provide technical leadership and site compliance with EPA andOSHA requirements in concert with designated functional experts Providesite leadership to achieve maximization/optimization of capital assetsand site utilization as well as lead safety initiatives in technicalareas Champion progression to zero using the tools, processes, andstandards as defined in the Zero Loss Culture guidebook Capital Planning& Execution Develop short term and long range capital investment plansfor facility and be accountable for the planning and execution of allprojects Responsible for the capital investment process for the site(e.g. standards, project management, capital approval, etc.).
