We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Plant Tech in our US Onshore Resources Carbon Management (ORCM), EOR Business Unit based in Amistad, NM; at our Bravo Dome Co2 plant and field.

ThePlant Tech will monitor equipment, make adjustments to process controls, take routine readings, performing preventive and minor maintenance, troubleshoot operational problems, perform lab tests, and handle paperwork associated with regulatory permitting in order to improve plant/field system operation/uptime and reduce total operating costs.

Monitors and controls well and field operations.Constantly reviews the operation of the field to monitor production and quality, anticipating and solving problems in a timely manner, and identifying opportunities for improvement.Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.Maintains adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, utility consumption, etc. on a daily, weekly, and/ monthly basis, as requiredCollaborate with contractors and vendors for all activities.Responsible for equipment lock/tagout for maintenance and repairsRecognizes equipment abnormalities. Communicates with team regarding significant repairs.Communicates directly with the maintenance department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in field areasPerforms preventive maintenance activities as required.Assists maintenance technicians in performing maintenance and repairs.Assists with diagnosing and trouble-shooting process related issues.Able to understand problems and develop effective solutions Responsible for ensuring proper flows, temperatures, pressures, and levels. Recognizes operating deviations and takes appropriate corrective action.Ability to operate field processes using a DCS control system, preferably Delta VResponsible for recording of parameter values, completion of operating reports, notification of environmental deviations, and equipment lockout/tag-out for maintenance and repair.Qualifications

At least High School grad or G.E.D.3 years oilfield experience preferred, with a responsible attitude for personal safety and the safety of co-workers, contractors the public.Ability to work 10 hour, rotating shiftsBasic knowledge of co2 field processesAbility to follow written operating procedures.Basic knowledge of OSHA 1910.119Capable of performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs on all required field equipmentAbility to efficiently and effectively monitor field equipment and make adjustments to processes and controls.Ability to troubleshoot operational problems.Ability to handle upsets, startups, and shutdowns of field systems and processes.Knowledge of DCS systems (Delta V and Wonderware)Good computer skills, along with ability to input data into SAP work order systems.Good communication and excellent interpersonal skillsRecruitment Fraud
