Run diagnostic tests on equipment. Perform necessary repairs on various equipment. Repair or replace broken parts as needed. Align, calibrate, and test machine parts. Install, assemble, and ensure proper functioning of new machines and equipment. Inspect machinery to detect signs of malfunction. Interpret and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and mechanical schematics. Engage in rigging and pipefitting tasks. Conduct welding and fabrication duties as required. Requirements of the plant mechanic: Availability for on-call duties. Mechanical inclination and aptitude. Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
