Military service members andveterans are encouraged to apply. Job Duties Troubleshoot and diagnoseplant manufacturing equipment during production. Schedule and performmechanical, hydraulic and/or pneumatic repairs on production equipmentas needed. Ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times andproperly documented Provide emergency & unscheduled repairs ofproduction equipment Perform general purpose steel fabrication andwelding. Read and interpret equipment manuals in order to performnecessary repairs and/or equipment service. Use a variety of hand andpower tools, electric meters, material handling equipment, welders andtorches in performing duties. Weld parts to equipment during repairs orinstallations. Maintain working areas in clean and orderly condition.Obtain quotes on parts and supplies and install parts to machinery asneeded. Communicate with vendors to ensure equipment is properlymaintained and installed. Work Environment Work in indoor and outdoorweather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures Work nearmoving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards Workin a noisy environment Physical Requirements Sitting Carrying/Lifting10 - 40 Pounds Standing / Walking / ClimbingSquatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending Pushing / Pulling / Reaching AboveShoulder Experience & Qualifications Minimum of 2 years\' experience inplant manufacturing equipment maintenance. Pro-active, multi-tasked,self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must. Stronghydraulic, mechanical, welding and industrial experience includinghydraulic pumps, electric motors, conveyor belts, steel fabrication andoverhead cranes.
