Basic Purpose and Objective:

　　Under general supervision, and according to established policies and procedures, operates vision sorting machines and auxiliary equipment, completes paperwork, accomplishes change-overs, dumps scrap, retrieves pallets, and makes boxes. Visually inspects parts and notifies supervisor of quality or machine problems. Maintains cleanliness of the Department.

　　Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

　　Set-up and run Retina sort machines

　　Completes Classifier’s Data Sheet

　　Completes schedules, logs, material requisitions

　　Randomly audits bins for poor plating, contamination, improper labeling, etc.

　　Tapes, labels, and puts parts on correct skids

　　Forklift truck license required

　　Caliper and micrometer use is required

　　Maintains a clean, safe department

　　Makes boxes and runs box making machine

　　Other duties assigned.

　　Education Required:

　　High school diploma or equivalent work experience.Experience Required:

　　Ability to read and write to complete documents.

　　Understand and follow written and verbal instructions when receiving assignments.

　　Have or be able to obtain a Hilo license within the probationary period.

　　Ability to use calipers and micrometers.

　　Basic computer skills are helpful.
