　　Overview:This position requires focus in the production scheduling area within plant operation. The job requires the ability to direct and handle multiple tasks. The possession of strong practical and technical skills as well as the ability to communicate the department's objectives in a clear and persuasive manner are essential. The ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and the ability to solve problems with minimal assistance is required.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assist with the scheduling of daily operations based on company needs that ensures product flows to maximize efficiency.

　　Ensure all deviations to planned schedules are timely communicated to the Planning group.

　　Ensure all records and inventories are accurately completed and reviewed before posting.

　　Assist with the adjusting of product scheduling within plant leadership when daily production is not met.

　　Direct and assist Procurement in the scheduling of all raw material needs for future production.

　　Actively participate in all daily management meetings.

　　Exercise leadership and communication skills to all customers, both Plant and Company.

　　Periodically review all department communications to ensure all information is accurate and up to date.

　　Assist with development of forecasting plant production requirements.

　　Develop and present any information on Plant fulfillment to all levels of management.

　　Maintain a presence in all Production departments to maintain open lines of communication.

　　Actively participate in the research, justification and implementation involved in the long-range planning of the facility.

　　Keep up to date with all current companies’ software that is required for this position.

　　Qualifications:

　　4-year degree or experience equivalent to such degree in a general manufacturing environment.

　　Three (3) to five (5) years experience in production planning or inventory management.

　　Computer skills required are an understanding of Microsoft Office Suite software.
