This position is responsible for layouts, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems, applying knowledge of system operation, and following blueprints.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:
Layout and fabricate various piping systemsPre-plan and schedule work processesSelect type and size of pipe, and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specificationsCut pipe, using saws, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and pipe cutting machineAssemble and install variety of metal and nonmetal pipes, tubes, and fittings, including iron, steel, copper, and plasticInstall and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, such as pumps and cylinders, using hand toolsAssists other team members with job duties as necessaryCompetent with various welding/piping techniquesSupervise and lead others on job sitesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, legal regulations, and recommended best practicesCollaborate with all Associates to uphold the company's mission and valuesTravel 20% of the time is requiredWORK HOURS:Monday thru Thursday, overtime/weekends as required

This position requires working outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms and possible extreme weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment. The associate is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage); and vibration. The associate is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The noise evel in the work environment is usually loud.
QualificationsSKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
