About the position The University of Minnesota-Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program is recruiting a full-time/near full-time physician faculty with or without obstetrics. We are a competitive 6-6-6, university-sponsored, community-based residency located in St. Louis Park, a first-ring suburb of Minneapolis with a diverse patient population. Duties include hospital rounding and hospital call, precepting in clinic (including prenatal, pediatric, adult & older adult, and office procedures), resident mentoring and advising, and scholarly activity including curriculum development and research. The ideal candidate will have post graduate clinical practice and teaching experience, but residency faculty experience is not required. Training will be offered to those new to academic medicine. Candidates with additional geriatric training or focused experience with geriatric clinical practice would be of particular interest to enhance our program's strength in this area.
