JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are currently recruiting a part-time InternalMedicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our FroedtertPort Washington Health Center team. Our clinics are state-of-the-artfacilities which offer a variety of preventive and primary careservices. This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practiceprovider to practice autonomously. The Froedtert & the Medical Collegeof Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between FroedtertHealth and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared missionof patient care, innovation, medical research, and education. Our healthnetwork operates eastern Wisconsin\'s only academic medical center andadult Level I Trauma center engaged in thousands of clinical trials andstudies. ForNurse Practitioners: A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience ispreferred. A master\'s degree in nursing is required. Graduate of anaccredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program is required. Amaster\'s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner specialty is required forstaff that report to Workforce Health. Requires current state ofWisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License froma participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by theWisconsin State Board of Nursing is required. Certification by theAmerican Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of NursePractitioners (AANP) is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BasicLife Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approvedequivalent is required upon hire. Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS)enrollment and DEA registration are required or must be eligible toobtain. Family Nurse Practitioner certification by the ANCC or AANP isrequired for staff that report to Workforce Health.
