Now hiring new graduate physical therapists!
MedStar Health Physical Therapy is looking for new and recent physical therapist graduates to join the largest non-profit, hospital-based, outpatient network in the region. Open positions in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia.
New hire mentorship program:
This program pairs a new associate with an experienced mentor. The program focuses on the clinical development of new hires and begins during the associate's introductory period (first 90 days).
Clinical specialty mentorship tracks:
This 12-month mentorship track focuses on the professional development of mentees in an area of clinical specialty. We currently offer nine clinical tracks:
• Orthopedic manual therapy
• Sports medicine
• Neurorehabilitation
• Direct access
• Hand therapy
• Speech-language pathology
• Cardio/Pulmonary
• Vascular/Amputee
• Leader of the future

Education Assistance (EdAssist) - Associates receive $4,800 per fiscal year in tuition reimbursement for future certifications/recertifications and can also take advantage of EdAssist's FREE educational advising and tuition discounts, offered by over 200 accredited schools.
Out of network courses - We cover 75% of the expense of out of network courses with approval from direct manager. Selected external courses are covered at 100%.
Paid time off (PTO)
A full-time (40 hours per week) team member accrues 20 days of PTO, 7 paid holidays and 2 personal days annually.
Public student loan forgiveness (PSLF)
As a non-profit organization, associates are encouraged to take advantage of the government programs offered to help eliminate debt after 10 years of public service under the PSLF program.
