Job Summary: The Physical Therapistprovides comprehensive physical therapy services to the patient byassessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care andtreatment programs. The therapist participates in varied RehabilitationServices department activities designed to enhance patient care andprograms. A Physical Therapist II demonstrates advanced evaluation andtreatment skills and is involved in program development, staffeducation, student supervision. Also demonstrates emerging leadershipskills and mentors department staff. Other duties as assigned.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: A minimum of two years of clinical Therapistexperience meeting requirements of Level I responsibilities asdetermined by interview and assessment.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Bachelors,Masters, or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy programis required.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Must be proficient at all PTlevel 1 competencies, maintain productivity level and have the potentialto take on additional responsibilities. May require clinical expertisein specific discipline.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: WI state license as aPhysical Therapist is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BasicLife Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approvedequivalent is required within 3 months of hire. RN/OT/PT/SLP ispreferred.
