We are excited toshare our opening for an energetic and results-driven Physical TherapistAssistant for a large manufacturing facility in Mount Vernon, IL. Thisposition will strategically support employees by providing rehab,ergonomic education, and injury prevention support. What will you be doing in this role?
Coordinating and implementing rehabilitation treatment plans thatincorporate therapeutic exercise, modalities, and work conditioningin a fully equipped, recently remodeled, onsite fitness center area.Providing ergonomic support by understanding the site operations,job processes, and physical demands to make ergonomicrecommendations to prevent more serious musculoskeletal conditionsfrom occurring.Providing proactive injury prevention via education and OSHA firstaid guidelines.Keeping accurate, detailed documentation with efficiency.This does not necessarily list all responsibilities, duties,requirements, or efforts associated with the job. Our ideal candidate will have:
An Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist AssistantThe required state licensure, certification, and registration thatis in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain therequired state licensureCPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the startof employment; maintain and provide proof of currentcertification(s)The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assignedshiftErgonomic and/or occupational health experienceThe ability to work both independently and in a team environment,without constant supervisionBe able to maintain confidentialityStrong computer skills, including proficiency with databases andMicrosoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint,and ExcelWhat you get from us:
