PHYSICAL SEC SYSTEMS SPECIALIST II

　　WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

　　This colleague will be responsible for assisting and supporting the operation of all physical security systems throughout the Bank. In addition to monitoring and responding to alarms received by the Central Alarm Station, this colleague will assist in the analysis of physical security systems, modification and programming of systems, badges and key fobs (e.g., access levels, access restrictions, access times zones) and preparation of production reports and information. Receives, responds and answers inquiries and issues related to Corporate Security from internal bank units and customers. Functions as the first point of contact for alarm and emergency situations for the Bank. Performs other duties as requested.

　　Legal and Corporate Administration Group

　　Make a meaningful difference as a member of City National's Legal & Corporate Administration Group, the area of the bank that manages legal and corporate governance, community reinvestment, corporate premises and corporate security.

　　What you will do

　　Monitors and responds to alarms, systems and emergency situations for the Bank and determines proper escalation and/or action. On call, after hours, on a rotational basis. Provides quality customer service to CNB line units by answering and responding to calls and emails regarding physical security systems, alarm monitoring and access control related issues and inquiries.

　　Assists in the evaluation, auditing and testing of physical security systems (e.g., access control, digital video, alarms, security databases, networked security devices, electronic panel systems, etc.) to ensure the integrity of information and programming of the systems, badges and key fobs (e.g., access levels, access restrictions and access time zones). Assists with system modifications and enhancements as directed. Ensures proper maintenance and repair of all physical security systems. Prepares reports and information for evaluation by the Physical Security Systems Manager and system users.

　　Maintains proper documentation and information of physical security systems. Maintains proper permits with local law enforcement agencies. Processes invoices. Orders supplies when directed.

　　Must-Have*

　　H.S. Diploma

　　Three to five years experience in the physical protection and security of a company’s property and assets is preferable.

　　Valid CA driver’s license

　　Central Station Operator’s level 1 certification

　　Skills and Knowledge

　　Strong working knowledge of Central Alarm Station operations in a banking environment.Compensation

　　Starting base salary: $25.93 - $41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
