　　Summary of Role:

　　The position is for an Analytical Lab Engineer in the Physical Analysis lab. The successful applicant will have extensive hands-on experience with surface analysis techniques, develop an understanding on analytical equipment and semiconductor fabrication principles.

　　Essential Responsibilities include:

　　Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment

　　Atomic Force Microscopy, X-ray Diffraction, Ellipsometry, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Focused Ion Beam, Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy

　　Analysis of samples, processing of data, and report preparation

　　Equipment upkeep

　　Identification of optimum analytical approaches

　　Continuous improvement

　　Other Responsibilities:

　　Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.Required Qualifications:

　　Education – Graduating with Bachelor’s or Master’s in Materials Science or related field from an accredited degree program.

　　Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.

　　Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)

　　Travel - Up to 10%

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Prior related internship or co-op experience.

　　Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

　　Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills

　　Strong planning & organizational skills

　　Experience with the operation of surface analysis techniques such as AFM, XRD, VASE, SEM, FIB, EDS

　　$49,400.00 - $103,000.00
