Job DescriptionThe Physical / Industrial Security Specialist will be responsible for allSecurity disciplines associated with the contract in the Colorado Springslocations. They will assist the FSO, AFSO, CSSO and ACSSO in providingday-to-day management of all physical security actions and documentation, bethe primary security POC to provide escort duties for construction projects/ maintenances. Must be available after-hours for rotating on-callresponsibilities. The successful candidate will be expected to assist inmaintaining and administering policies and procedures in compliance withIntelligence Community Directive (ICDs) and NISPOM and will regularlyinterface with ENSCO program personnel and customers. The successful candidatewill study and assist in implementing federal security regulations that applyto company operation; assist in preparing manuals outlining regulations,and enforce established procedures for handling, storing, and keepingrecords, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restrictedrecords and materials. The selected candidate once trained must have theability to support multiple security environments with diverse securityrequirements. The successful candidate must have excellent written and oralcommunication skills. Additional responsibilities may be assigned commensuratewith performance or due to business needs.
PRIMARY DUTIES:The Physical/Industrial Security specialist will be responsible formonitoring and escorting uncleared construction workers and other physicalsecurity vendors / visitors in ENSCO areas, and different offices.
Day- to -day assistance to FSO and AFSO
Coordinate with FSO on day-to-day execution of all security relatedinformation.
Coordinate daily visitor lists and requests for construction/maintenancepersonnel.
Track construction and maintenance progress.
Prepare for and conduct uncleared visitor escort.
Assist Security Administrator in administrative duties when needed to includeIn/out processing, VARs, creating badges, access control, helpcoordinate meetings, and provide courier assistance.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
Bachelors Degree or equivalentActive DoD Secret clearance and ability to gain TS/SCI, for which you mustbe a U.S. citizenMinimum 5 years of security experienceKnowledge of NISPOM, ICD, and DODMHave excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills,both orally and written.Working knowledge of DISS, CCTV, and access control systems Proficientwith Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Maintain data spreadsheets, personnel files, and various logs.Will be required to travel to other local ENSCO offices.Must be available after-hours for rotating on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications Desired
Knowledge of ICDs and DoD M5205.07 v1-4Knowledge and experience in construction securityExperience with DISS, NBIS, e-App SWFT, Field print, and NISSExperience with SIMSExperience with COMSECWorking knowledge of access control systems and issuing ID cardsExperience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systemsExcellent customer service skillsExtensive experience sending and receiving Visit Requests.
