Position Summary Under direct supervision bydepartment leadership, performs phlebotomy collection of whole blood andapheresis products. Interacts with donors and coordinators, providing ahigh level of customer service to deliver an excellent donationexperience. Takes pride in and is committed to delivering high qualityservices. Works cooperatively and is a supportive member of theteam/group. Contributes positively to the achievement of teamobjectives. Responsibilities Understands and performs to all applicableregulatory and compliance requirements. Recognizes when the customer is distressed and respondsappropriately with tact. Prepares collection site and performs set up,including technology systems (may include quality control). Performsdonor screening (collects donor histories) and mini-physical. Performsphlebotomy.
