　　DescriptionPhlebotomist:Status: Part-TimeCompensation: $23.00-$28.00Location: St. Francis of BellinghamResponsibilities:Calling in ordersAssisting in pharmacy orders and retrieving medical records.Speaking with patient families as directedData entryContacting facilities and physician offices for patient status, needs and coordination of carePatient Contact; vitals, weight, blood pressure, checking pulse.Locating patients in advance of physician visitMedical billing; insurance authorizations, communication with entitiesConduct blood drawsComplete requisition formsDeliver tests to the labQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent.Must be a licensed Certified Medical Assistant in this state.Maintain confidentiality of all patient care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.Knowledge of the meaning and usage of common medical abbreviations, symbols and terms relative to the administration of medications.Work positively with staff to coordinate care and physician work flow.Avamere Companies is an Equal Opportunity Employer
