　　Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is looking for aPhlebotomist

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Assumes responsibility for obtaining all blood or non-blood specimens of patients seen in physician s office by venipuncture from the arm and,

　　or micro collections from fingers in a variety of collection tubes or capillaries, some of which contain preservatives or anticoagulants,

　　Prepares all specimens to be sent to appropriate laboratories and completes applicable paperwork,

　　Assumes responsibility for recognizing situation that must be brought to the attention of the Office Manager or the Manager of Support Services of the Department of Pathology at Saint Barnabas Medical Center,

　　Performs additional tasks as requested by the Manager of Support Service

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　High school graduate,

　　Successful completion of all Orientation Programs,

　　Schedule
