Reporting to the Office Manager and collaborating closely with ourdiverse team of providers and administrative assistants, you'll be anintegral part of our patient's primary care team both on a local officelevel and as a part of your larger district. You'll utilize the highestquality standards to perform specimen collections and processing, whileproviding a personalized and calming experience for our patients. You will usea growth mindset to navigate the rapidly changing technology and workflowsthat keep us on the forefront of modern day healthcare, all while providingbest in class, human-centered care to our patients.You are a strong team player and use your innovative problem solving skills totackle various tasks and challenges. You combine excellent specimen collectiontechnique with tactful interpersonal skills during every interaction with yourpatients. If this sounds like you, wewould love to connect.What you'll work on:Provide best in class venipuncture services on a population ranging frompediatrics to geriatricsPerform and assist with extended scope duties such as, but not limited tonon-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals,ear lavages,vaccines, PPD tests, and swabsMaintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling,handling and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilizationContinue to care for our members beyond the lab room by answering patientmessages, following up on lab cases and assisting our providers and virtualmedical team with clerical duties such as, but not limited to biometricscreening forms, medical record and consult review, billing inquiries,and DOH reportingMaster our technology suite including, but not limited to Slack,G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System 1Life, in orderto interact with team members and complete daily workWhat you'll need:At least 6 months of experience practicing phlebotomy outside of atraining/externship environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsA High School Diploma or equivalentProficiency in computer technology such as typing, navigating the internetand using multiple software systems simultaneouslyExperience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams(additional experience with remote teams a plus)A proven ability to display confidence and instill trust during the collectionprocess while delivering individualized, human-centered, customer-focused careA proven track record of persisting through change, consistently stepping upto take action on challenges and learning quickly and effectively whenfaced with new situations or tasksPhlebotomy certification preferredExperience with extended scope care including but not limited to non-bloodspecimen collection and processing, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages,vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs preferredBenefits designed to aid your health and wellness:Taking care of you todayPaid sabbatical after 5 and 10 yearsEmployee Assistance Program - Free confidential advice for team members whoneed help with stress, anxiety, financial planning, and legal issuesCompetitive Medical, Dental and Vision plansFree One Medical memberships for yourself, your friends and familyPre-Tax commuter benefitsPTO cash outs - Option to cash out up to 40 accrued hours per yearOne Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The base hourly range for this role is $21.50 to $23.50based on a standardfull-time schedule. Total compensation packages may be based on factors uniqueto particular candidates, such as skill sets, depth of experience, andwork location.The total compensation package for this position may alsoinclude benefits.
