　　We are preparing for growth in our Columbia Maryland pharmacy and are interested in speaking with Pharmacy Technicians that are interested in working within the compounding sector. 　　As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician you will work with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies within the clean room environment. You will utilize your clinical knowledge providing our patients with the smooth service and delivery of their medication to their homes. Make a difference by bringing your personal touch and compounding experience that will support our patient’s one on one care.

　　Key responsibilities:

　　Preparation and compounding of sterile products

　　Maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements

　　Documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing

　　Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist

　　Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports

　　Shift: Monday-Friday Daily rotating 8 hour shifts between 6:00am and 7:00pmRequired Qualifications

　　Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician License

　　6 Months of pharmacy experience required OR graduate of a pharmacy program

　　Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　IV compounding experience or completion of a program or school where you were trained in IV compounding

　　USP 795 knowledge

　　USP 800 knowledge

　　USP 797 knowledge

　　Microsoft office knowledge

　　Excel, outlook, word

　　EducationVerifiable High school diploma or GED

　　Pay Range

　　The typical pay range for this role is:

　　$17.00 - $29.88

　　This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
