As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for being on the phone for most of the day coordinating prescription refills & deliveries with patients while also providing support to the Pharmacist when necessary. Location: This role is onsite in Columbia, MD (Address: 9204 BERGER ROAD Ste A COLUMBIA, MD 21046)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6pm
Primary Responsibilities:
Calling patients to assist with refills for home infusion medications Coordinate new patient orders Coordinate deliveries of IV medication Assist Pharmacist as needed to support the management of clinical work New prescription data entry Coordinate maintenance and Durable medical equipment for patient treatment plan Adhering to all state and federal pharmacy regulations, in scope of practice for pharmacy technician
This role is equally challenging and rewarding. You'll need to work within multiple computer systems simultaneously as you respond to questions or provide specific medication details/clinical information. It's a fast paced, high volume environment where our members are counting on us to deliver these important, sometimes life-saving medications in an accurate and efficient manner.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher) Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Maryland Ability to work 8-hour shift of 9:30am - 6pm Monday through Friday and an on - call rotation once every 6 weeks 1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations and IV infusion and specialty medications
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in hospital setting, specialty pharmacy, and or home infusion settings
