AstraZeneca\'s strategy in CVRM is a patient-centric approach todisease treatment, so we are tackling multiple risk factors by unitingour cardiovascular (CV), metabolic and chronic kidney disease (CKD)areas into one integrated approach - cardiovascular renal metabolic(CVRM). This approach means we look at the CVMD patient as a whole,rather than by disease area, because we know that cardiovascular diseaseis a well-known consequence of diabetes and CKD. Each of ours focusareas seek to further reduce morbidity, mortality and organ damage byaddressing multiple risk factors across cardiovascular (CV) disease,diabetes and chronic kidney-disease indications. The patient-centricapproach is reinforced by science-led life-cycle management programs andtechnologies, including early research into regenerative methods.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and position AstraZeneca as a leader through development oflong term relationships with Cardiologists including keyInterventional Cardiologists and accounts.Develop and maintain superior product and disease state knowledgeand effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals indialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, productefficacy and safety profiles to support on-label prescribing forappropriate patients; this also includes maintaining in-depthknowledge of market, demographic, and managed care informationrelative to assigned sales territory.As needed, provide special education to healthcare providers throughappropriate programs that fall within the ethical guidelines ofAstraZeneca\'s ethical guidelines.Thinks strategically by leveraging insights to create acustomer/account engagement plan, taking a dynamic and collaborativeapproach to maximize the businessRegularly use a wide variety of promotional resources, analyticaltools to understand and evaluate the business in order to bestdetermine the use of resource personnel to maximize effectiveness inassigned sales territory, based on local assessment of customerneeds to accomplish sales objectives.Work with your Regional Sales Director and District Sales Manager todevelop a local strategy and business plan to generate recognizableincreases of sales in territory.Drive sales performance and ensure the sales forecasts and assignedbudgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory oals, whilemanaging your budget.Ability to identify innovation opportunities to maximize businessimpact, adapt as needed, and implement; use of multipletools/channels to engage a customer/account to drive performanceSuccessfully complete all training requirements, including yourproduct examinations.Demonstrate learning agility, flexibility and ability to leveragefeedback to learn, grow, and evolve for impact Capitalize onformulary approvals and other opportunities through effectiveimplementation of the Strategic Targeting Plan.Partner and collaborate with other Pharmaceutical Sales Specialiststo achieve common objectives and coordinated selling efforts.Provide timely and administrative management of work hours, salesdata, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization,sample and expense reporting, as you work within the framework ofAstraZeneca\'s Company Values.Essential Requirements
Bachelor\'s DegreeAt least 2 years of documented, full-time, successful pharmaceuticalsales OR 3 yrs sales experience inscientific/clinical/healthcare environment OR demonstratedexperience & knowledge within healthcare ecosystemsStrong clinical skill, and sales abilityA valid driver\'s license and safe driving recordInternal candidate must be Career Ladder Level 2 and aboveDes
