Job Title: Pharmaceutical Formulation Lab Chemist

　　Location: North Brunswick, NJ

　　Hours/Schedule: Mon- Fri, 8am-5pm

　　Type: Contract

　　Responsibilities

　　Prepare oral and injectable dosage forms in pharmaceutical laboratories

　　Tasks involve mixing, compounding, dosage forming, packaging, cleaning, and documentations

　　Perform solubility testing of drug substances

　　Carry out other lab analyses such as thermal, texture, dissolution and microscopy

　　Support other Formulation Development Group in lab activities

　　Organize and clean the labs

　　Collect data, conduct simple data analysis, and follow good documentation

　　Requirements

　　Knowledgeable in pharmaceutical formulations and excipients

　　Good lab technical skills with common pharmaceutical equipment and instruments

　　Well trained in laboratory safety and procedures

　　Hands on experience in wet chemistry and formulations

　　Previous formulation experience with pharmaceutical, food, confectionary, or flavor required

　　Experience with operations of sigma blade mixer, planetary mixer, and extruders desirable

　　Good communication skills and work well in a team environment

　　Proficient in Word and Excel
