Description:

　　To ensure the Quality and Compliance of raw materials and products by overseeing daily laboratory activities including testing, personnel, and laboratory documentation relative to the support of operations and manufacturing needs.

　　Provides support and oversight of testing and release of laboratory testing on shift. 50%

　　Initiates and completes laboratory investigations to their closure. 25%

　　Conducts training for direct reports and takes part in needed training to perform job function. 10%

　　Provides performance-based feedback to direct reports, including completion of annual performance reviews. 5%

　　Seeks assistance on Human Resource issues. 5%

　　Participates in Continuous Improvement initiatives. 5%

　　This role will be managing a team of 5-10 chemist and/or technicians supporting lab functions.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or related science

　　3+ years of experience within a QC lab environment

　　With experience in HPLC and related analytical lab equipment1+ years of supervisor experience with QC Lab or multiple years of experience in a Leadership function training others in a QC Lab environment
