  How you will spend your time:

  Individual Contributor

  Use a consultative questioning approach to turn every transaction and customer service interaction into an opportunity to learn your clients’ financial life priorities and connect them to our solutions that meet their financial goals.

  Grow the branch customer base through proactive outbound business development activities including workplace banking, developing referral networks, appointment setting and outbound calling campaigns.

  Assist customers with transactions, completing service requests, and opening new accounts and submitting applications while delivering a meaningful conversation that improves our customers’ financial wellbeing.

  Level III Personal Banker’s play a lead role in driving success through consumer lending especially real estate secured lending such as home equity loans and lines of credit. Keen product knowledge and proactively sourcing lending opportunities through conversations and developing referral networks are key activities for success. Pipeline management, collaboration with underwriting and credit partners and consistent timely follow-up with clients are essential.

  Participate in delivery of the unparalleled customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach to help customers succeed financially.

  Collaborate with partners in small business, mortgage, and investments to grow customer's share of wallet.

  Extension of Branch Leadership Team | Assistant Branch Manager

  Support the Branch Manager (BM) by consistently and clearly communicating and reinforcing priorities with the team. In the absence of the branch manager, oversee the entire branch staff.

  Encourage branch achievement of performance targets by managing to Retail UNITED’s Sales Management processes including daily huddles, intra-day checkpoints with team members to ensure progress to essential activities and behaviors.

  Support achievement of the Unparalleled Customer Experience by closely managing the choreography of customer interactions within the branch and refining team scheduling for business continuity, client experience and support of key business development initiatives like myPerks workplace banking.

  Ensure the branch is always operating in a safe and sound manner by following applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines. Success will be reflected in satisfactory audit ratings, managing critical operational metrics to minimize risks and losses, maintaining high standards for security and account opening activities and resolution of customer escalations.

  We’re excited to talk with you if:

  You have a HS Diploma or equivalent

  You have at least three years’ experience successfully achieving sales and service targets on a commissions-based compensation plan in a Retail banking environment. Demonstrable skills engaging with customers, making product recommendations, and originating consumer deposit, loan and credit card accounts.

  You have the ability to work Monday-Friday 8:00AM-6:00PM, Saturdays 8:00AM-12:00PM

  You have the ability to obtain an NMLS registration within 90 days

  You have the ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately

  You have excellent communication skills - in person and over the phone - with proven ability to tailor features and benefits of products/services to customers with differing needs as well as resolve complex customer escalations

  You have basic math skills and ability to problem solve while operating within established risk parameters/tolerances

  You have Professional, thorough, and organized with strong computer skills to manage complex transactions and service tasks across multiple systems.

  You demonstrate ability to make personal connections, engage and educate customers and teammates, ask open-ended questions, and listen to establish trust and build lasting relationships

  You exude confidence and possess the drive, initiative, and knowledge to provide financial options for customers using a consultative approach

  You have strong business development capabilities for proactively growing your own personal book of business by successfully using campaign offers, prospecting leads, service-to-sales conversations as well as leveraging centers of influence for referrals.

  You have a sound understanding of personal financial statements as a foundation for making insightful recommendations to clients and prospects related to strategies to make money, save money and protect money.

  You have proven organizational and time management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  Bonus points if you have:

  A college degree or military equivalent strongly preferred; High school degree, GED or foreign equivalent required

  Are bilingual

  A basic understanding of business financial statements

  Compensation Range:

  Minimum: $38,910.00 - Maximum: $90,090.00
