What’s the role?
As a member of the News Xtend Performance team, you will help execute the tactical planning, implementation and activation of Search, Social & Display campaigns.
The Performance Marketing Manager performs in-platform buying and analyses delivery of News Xtend’s clients. The role partners with the Campaign Management team to offer account optimisation strategies to drive performance.
In addition to hands-on Search, Social & Programmatic buying, the role provides exposure to News Xtend operations, working with team leads and department heads to deliver great results for our customers and help drive operational efficiencies in our business.
Success in this position is measured by delivery of a campaign ROI, which can range from Branding (e.g. awareness, consideration, intent) to Performance (e.g. usage, acquisition, ROAS). Overall customer retention and satisfaction is a priority KPI for this role, so attention to detail is a must have. Providing solutions to day to day operational challenges will provide development opportunities and provide exposure to different areas on the News Xtend family.

Salary package of $83,733.16
Responsibilities
Execute bid and buy strategies across Google Ads, Meta & The Trade Desk platforms adhering to News Xtend’s client performance and pricing guidelines
Ensure full delivery and performance standards of advertising campaigns are met while reviewing campaign performance to continually update best practices setup where needed
Recommend forward-thinking strategies and opportunities for improvement in bid and buy strategies and identify if strategy amends are required for existing customers, for example, performance above/below target, client KPI's review, customer onsite experience improvements
Adhere to the appropriate SLAs during daily activities
Communicate with your Team Lead on process and analytics improvement opportunities
Produce robust post-campaign analysis by utilising data via Social & Programmatic buying platforms
Utilise your deep understanding of actionable optimisation opportunities to execute on these;
Develops, leads and delegates discipline-level projects, i.e.Google Optiscore, platform audits, Google Performance/DR testing, internal process improvements
Offer technical support, and troubleshoot underperforming or underdelivering campaigns and discrepancies
Assist in training and development of junior operations and client services staff when required
Proactively providing input to operational ways of working based on day-to-day involvement in the process.
Who are you?
Min 2 years experience working in Search, Social & Programmatic buying & planning space with a focus on strategy and execution
Must have in-platform execution experience managing campaigns and making decisions (Google Ads, Facebook, TTD as a minimum)
Working knowledge of Data Visualization tools such as Datorama or Tableau is a plus
Have the ability to make business decisions based on interpreting data and asking relevant questions
Be organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, time management is crucial for a Trader
Be charismatic, direct and proactive with the ability to build credibility internally and externally
Have the ability to articulate information in a concise and compelling manner
Be proactive and engage with your team members, have a ‘can do’, positive and flexible attitude
Excellent listening skills to understand our clients and other teams requirements;
Take ownership of your day-to-day and develop, lead and delegate discipline-level projects, i.e. platform audits, supply-path optimisation, Performance/DR testing or internal process improvements
Excellent communication skills - you need to have the ability to articulate information in a concise and compelling manner
