The Red Hat Human Resources (HR) Shared Services Center (SSC) team is looking for an HR Coordinator to join us in Pune, India. As part of our Service Processing team, you will be a core member of our Global HR Operations team, playing an integral part in supporting Red Hat associates by delivering People team (HR) programs. You will work with a global diverse HR team and contribute towards continuous improvement of our services. You’ll gain experience in HR programs and processes across the employee life cycle, including benefits, hiring and more, providing an excellent experience for our associates.
What you will do
Provide customer and administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of benefits, hiring and employment, absence management, primarily for the APAC and EMEA regions, but support global services as well
Process, file and maintain in our electronic file system various forms and documents related to human resources activities such as new-hire paperwork, changes to the terms of employment, benefits, terminations, etc.
Schedule interviews for candidates in Asia Pacific (APAC); support interview coordination in other regions when required
Serve as the main point of contact for onboarding; work with managers and recruiters to ensure a positive interview experience for all
Coordinate registrations, updates, and cancellations of benefits for associates
Manage day-to-day standard benefit queries from associates
Administer health checks and background checks
Input employee personal data into HR databases
Support the SSC team’s projects on a global basis by identifying and documenting existing team processes, researching, and reporting on industry best practices, and carrying out project tasks
Contribute to global People Operations projects as needed
What you will bring
2+ years of experience working in HR or in a shared-service environment with a focus on benefits, customer care, employment, hiring, time and absence, HR information system (HRIS), compensation, training, or compliance
Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills with a customer focus
Experience with handling different types of issues and challenges; good problem-solving skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills in English
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing-based system is a plus
Experience in global or cross-regional support is a plus
Bachelor's degree is a plus
