　　This job was posted by https://idahoworks.gov : For more information,please see: https://idahoworks.gov/jobs/2146688 PEER SUPPORT Services(PSS) are recovery support services in which a Certified Peer SupportSpecialist utilizes his/her training, lived experience and experientialknowledge to mentor, guide and coach the client as he/she works toachieve self-identified recovery and resiliency goals. These servicesare designed to promote empowerment, foster self-determination andchoice, and inspire hope as the client progresses through the recoveryprocess. Peer support services are typically delivered to a person witha serious mental illness or co-occurring mental health and substance usedisorder who is actively involved in their own recovery process. Thisspecialized support is intended to complement an array of therapeuticservices and may be offered before, during, or after mental healthtreatment has begun to facilitate long-term recovery in the community.
