POSITION:Peer Support Specialist
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:To provide peer support services and guidance to individuals in crisis, andwork collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to connect patients to thecommunity treatment resources. Will focus on working with clients to enhancetheir recovery.

REQUIREMENTS:*High School Diploma or GED required.*One (1) year experience working in a peer support specialist or similar role.*Must self-identify as having experienced the process of recovery from amental health disorder, substance use disorder, trauma, or one or all ofsuch conditions.*Peer Specialist Training Certificate that includes the Colorado State CoreCompetencies completed or be eligible to obtain this credential within three(3) months of date of hire.*Familiarity with local resources and services related to mental health andsubstance use disorders is highly advantageous.*Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening,and non-judgmental attitude towards others. Spanish speaking preferred.*Must work in the ED or inpatient care environments with some exposure tobiological hazards and infectious diseases.
WAGE:$15.15 - $21.89 per hour depending on qualifications.
SHIFT:*Full time, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day.*Must be able to work a flexible schedule with some evenings and possibleweekends.
JOB SITE:Delta, Colorado.
